Canada Job growth exceeded expectations in November:
As per new statistics report Canada added 154,000 jobs and unemployment fell to 6% in November.
The unemployment levels in Canada decreased to 6 percent in November. As per new labour force data suggest that Canada is on its way to a full economic recovery. Last month’s growth exceeded analysts’ predictions of 38,000, which was closer to October levels.
Employment increased in six provinces:
- Ontario
- Quebec
- Alberta
- Newfoundland and Labrador
- Nova Scotia
- Prince Edward Island.

- British Columbia
- Manitoba
- Saskatchewan
- New Brunswick.

Highest people working in transportation and warehousing in November:
Employment in the industry has increased by 50,000 since June 2021, in all provinces except Newfoundland and Labrador.
As per stats people working in transportation and warehousing increased by 18,000 (+1.8%) in November.
Health care and social assistance since June:
According to results from the Job Vacancy and Wage Survey (JVWS), job vacancies in health care and social assistance reached 131,200 in September 2021, double the number recorded in the third quarter of 2019 (66,100) (not seasonally adjusted).
As per stats people working in health care and social assistance increased by 44,000 (+1.7%) in November. The particularly gains in Ontario and British Columbia
