The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program offers three different ways to become a permanent resident in BC, Canada. Each programs have different eligibility criteria to apply. NOC (National Occupation Classification), Skill level, Education, Job offer or International student status.

British Columbia PNP Pathways:

Skilled Immigration

Skilled Immigration is for international skilled workers and semi-skilled workers in high-demand occupations in British Columbia. It is a points based immigration system. The application process can be applied both online and offline paper based process for permanent residency.
Work experience is not required for some categories. But Entry Level and Semi-Skilled category applicants need B.C. work experience. Recent international graduates of a designated Canadian university or college may not require any work experience, depending on the job being offered.

Express Entry British Columbia

For eligible skilled workers Express Entry BC is a faster way to get permanent resident. It is a points based immigration system. The application process can be applied both online and offline paper based process for permanent residency. Work experience is not required for this stream. However, you must meet other requirements such as education and language.

Entrepreneur Immigration.

For experienced entrepreneurs who want to actively manage a business in B.C can apply under Entrepreneur Immigration stream to get permanent resident. It is a points based immigration system. Regional pilot is for entrepreneurs who want to start a new business in participating regional communities across British Columbia. Companies looking to expand into B.C., Can apply to get permanent residency for key employees.

Express Entry British Columbia – Skilled Workers Eligibility:

  • Valid Express Entry Profile
  • Valid job offer from approved employer (job must be in a National Occupation Classification (Skill Type 0 or Skill Level A or B).
  • Must meet eligibility qualifications to work in your job in B.C.
  • Must have 2 years of work experience in same related field.
  • Must have sufficient funds to support yourself and your family.
  • Must meet English Language Proficiency

How to apply British Columbia PNP program?
