Australia upcoming programs and level plan in 2022

The Department of Home Affairs is designed to achieve a range of economic and social outcomes in 2022. Australia Immigration Program planning on hiring 160,000 skilled workers under the following streams.

  • Skilled Worker visa
  • Family visa
  • Special Category visa
  • Child visa

Skilled Worker visa:

Level plan 79,600. This program is implemented to increase the Australian economy and fill skill shortages in the labour market, including those in regional Australia.

Family visa:

Level plan 77,300. This program is made up for spouse, common law partner, eligible family members from overseas to reunite with Australians and provide them pathways to citizenship.

Special Category visa:

Level plan 100. This program is eligible for those in special circumstances, including permanent residents returning to Australia after a period overseas.

Child visa:

Level plan 3,000. This program enables eligible dependent to reunite with Australians, but this program is not included in the Migration Program.
