The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) is an economic immigration program that nominates people for permanent residence in Alberta. Candidates must have a skills to fill job shortage or be planning to buy or start a business in Alberta. If you are nominated through any of the program. You may eligible to apply for permanent residence together with your spouse or common-law partner, and also with dependent children’s.
The AINP has 2 streams for international skilled workers who are plan to live and work in Alberta:
Candidates with a valid Express Entry profile may be invited by AINP to apply for permanent resident can apply under this stream.
The AINP has 3 streams for entrepreneur who are plan to live or buy or start a business in Alberta:
International Graduate from an approved post -secondary institutions who want to start a business or buy an existing business can submit an EOI in Alberta
Well experienced farmers who plan to buy or start a farm in Alberta can apply under this stream for permanent residence
Foreign graduates from outside of Canada can apply under this stream for permanent residence
All Candidates submitted AINP application on or after October 1, 2020 needs to be paid $500 processing fee. This fees have to be paid for processing your application.
